Hi! I don’t normally sew for my dolls, but I was feeling inspired yesterday and thought, why not? I got the material from Michael’s.
Because this was hand-sewn, I didn’t hem it. I still like it, though. The length of the shirt is more like a crop-top, but I just pulled Saige’s leggings up higher on her waist. The shirt is open in the back, because I always forget to leave some extra space- but also so that the shirt fits because I cant just yank it on. I might close the shirt up with ribbon or extra material later.
I did a quick photoshoot of Saige in her new top, enjoy! Ooh, I love this picture. ❤ 🙂

Have a wonderful day!
Do you like smoothies? Idk
What color t-shirt are you wearing right now?
Why do I love gymnastics? I honestly don’t know. I mean,
My coaches push me hard.
I come home from practice sore, with scratches and rips.
I’ve fallen about fifty million times.
I’m not the strongest gymnast on my team.
I’ve been yelled at a lot.
I get frustrated when I can’t get a skill.
But I still love it.
Maybe it’s because…
My coaches want me to be successful.
My bumps and bruises show that I’m practicing hard.
Each time I fall, I’m correcting myself.
If I keep practicing, I’ll get better.
Being yelled at makes me realize my mistake.
I love the feeling of satisfaction when I do perfect a new skill.
So, yeah. Gymnastics is one of the hardest sports there is. But I haven’t given up. A few years ago, I would watch in awe as the older girls did backflips and back handsprings and twisted through the air -and they’d land just as gracefully. Now look at me. I’m sure that sounds self centered- but it’s true. I’ve really started pushing myself at practice, and now I can do a kip, a back handspring, sometimes even two in a row, and I’m really close to getting my aerial. =)
I am a gymnast at heart.
Hi!!!! I am literally so excited right now. ‘Cause guess what?
I REACHED 40 FOLLOWERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t know what to say! Just knowing that 40 of you can stand my weirdness and want to come back and read my posts and leave the nicest comments makes me feel-well, like this:
Every single one of your guys’ comments makes my
face heart melt. 😉
The top commenters are:
Meg and Michelle from Canadian Doll Notebook (21)
I’m honestly so surprised that this happened so fast. ❤ Thank you so much, again!
Onto the next thing! At my school, my teachers are going to start giving me more homework in preparation for Junior High. This might mean that I’ll have less time to post. Also, I only have 7 more gymnastics practices until our big show (this is the first time I’m going to be in a dance-we’re doing Fight Song 🙂 ) and I can’t skip.
BTW, I have a funny story. 😛 So today we had to do standardized testing, and someone in my class fell asleep! LOL- he got a nice 10 minute nap in-and he even (semi-quietly) snored. It sounds so mean but I was biting my lip trying not to laugh! I am pretty happy with my score, though, so thumbs-up for that!
I added a new page on my blog called Polls. It would be great if you answered some of my questions!
P.S. Now it’s 42 followers.
Clara has a tutorial for unlimited photo space on WordPress AND Blogger, so go check that out! Please! It’s so helpful, and I’ll be needing it soon. 🙂 Thanks, Clara!
That’s it for today’s post! Sayonara!
You know how most moms have to go up and tell their kids to go outside and play? Not with me! I’m actually pretty proud of that. I’m a nature lover and decided to spend my Saturday outdoors. Lil’ Lissie came out to play, too. 😉 Life’s good, Lissie…Life is good. 😛***
Hi everyone! I, like Brooke, spent my Saturday afternoon outside- taking pictures. It was a lot of fun, and, yes, I did put Brooke in a tree for the last two pictures, though if I hadn’t done that with my other dolls ages ago, I probably wouldn’t have in fear of my new doll getting any scuffs or scratches. 🙂
🙂 ❤ 🙂
