She Shoots, She Scores!~an AGPS

Hi! I took these a LONG time ago, and found them today…so here they are. 🙂

It was really sunny when I took this, so I had my friend shadow this picture. 😉

GOAL.

If you liked this post, comment that these pictures are goals! XD Hahaha omg that was sooo bad 😛 😛 XD

I’ve made like five posts today XD

Signing off for the last time today,

What’s The Buzz? (May 2016)

Hi guys! Welcome to ‘What’s The Buzz?’! I’ve decided that these are going to be monthly posts where I feature posts from other doll blogs that I’ve enjoyed reading and want to share with you. Hopefully you find some new blogs, and enjoy!

This is one of my favorite pictures from a GORGEOUS photoshoot called

Princess Elizabeth ~ An American Girl Photo Shoot

Am I cute or what?‘s photography is just stunning and Elizabeth looks SO pretty! After seeing this, I really wanted to curl Saige’s hair so it looked similar to Elizabeth’s. It turned out SO well, but I still think Elizabeth’s hairstyle looks so royal!

This post is from Americangirlfan! Liz, your pictures are so beautiful and the sloth adds a super cute touch!

Here’s the link to the post. I loved these two pictures, but it was hard to choose a favorite! American Girl Doll Lea Clark SlothAmerican Girl Doll Lea Clark Sloth

Here’s another post featuring the lovely Lea Clark, congratulations on adding her to your collection, Ginnie! IMG_2061

She also shows you some fun finds that are P-E-R-F-E-C-T for Lea! View that amazing post by clicking HERE.

Hopefully you’re not too tired of Lea yet, because you’re about to see some more pretty pictures of here! Just click here

She looks like a real person!

This is Part 12 of American Girl Doll Artist’s newest series, The Guiding Compass. IT’S AMAZING. I love Lea’s jedi robe!

Loren started her new series, too, and it’s called Serpents. If you haven’t read it yet, what are you doing?! JK, read all of the parts here.4-dsc_0562.jpg

Samantha from AGdollawesome made some great summer goals for her doll blog. tteal

Btw, I love that color. 😉

So, that wraps up the first ‘What’s the Buzz?’ post! Did you like it? 🙂

Writing Tip: Create a Story Around Your Photography

Hello, writers, bloggers, and unicorns! 🙂 This is the kind of thing that I don’t normally post on here, but I had a great idea for a story as I was taking pictures of Brooke outside. I also have some tips that will help you when writing or give you some ideas!

  1. Use nature as a writing prompt. If you see a leaf, you can make into something symbolic for a story or make up a dramatic line for a story. An example:

The leaf fluttered away in the gentle summer breeze. The sun shone brightly, the flowers were everywhere. But to me, everything served as a reminder that nothing stays forever. The pink peonies’ ruffled petals reminded me of the lacy pink dresses my sister used to wear. Suddenly, something as happy as a flower could make me want to cry.

***

I went to her grave the next day. It was hard to believe that my sister, the one who had lived and breathed and loved once was under the cold, unforgiving, earth. I sank to my knees and wished for my sister to come back. But it turns out that that was once upon a time. Wishing for things was behind me now. Wishing does not exist in a world where my sister does not either.

Here’s another one I came up with after taking this photo:

Dewdrops scattered the ground and the moonlight illuminated the sky. Dewdrops, I thought. The tears of the angels.

Even if it’s just one sentence, it can make a big difference in your story.

I was alone. It was an awful feeling, but I hardly remembered a time where other humans roamed the Earth anyway.

Run. The word was in big, flashing lights in my head. The world was no longer safe for people like me. A watch was of no use, I had been running for hours already. Time never mattered anyway. I kept running until my legs were sore, until I couldn’t breathe, until I reached a place I no longer recognized as Earth.

See how that works? Each of the short stories I wrote have a common theme, so I could probably mush that into one big story.

I will be posting this on both of my blogs, just an FYI.

What are your thoughts? Did this help you?

Adios,

Then VS. Now!

Kids these days, am I right? XD Everyone knows that things were very different ‘back then’ than they are now. Let’s take a looksies. 😛

#OOTD“Go play outside, you brat!” (LOL, not really)Um, yeah. Starbucks and pizza. ‘Cause why not?

Bonus:

Ruthie: How does this thing work?????

Brooke: C’mon, Ruthie, let’s take a selfie!

Ruthie: Take a what? Is that a kind of animal? Stealing’s bad, Brooke!

Brooke: Here, I’ll show you. Okay, so just press this button…

Ruthie: There are a lot of buttons.

Brooke: (points) That one.

Ruthie: Oh, got it! Ta-da! 🙂

And that’s it! So, did you enjoy that post? I had a lot of fun making it! And, a disclaimer, it’s totally based on stereotypical things, I’m totally not saying all kids are like that. Thanks for reading!

P.S. Did anyone notice my new sign-off? 😉

P.P.S. You have ONE MORE DAY to ask questions for my Q & A!

Bye!

Answers to my Q & A!

Hi, everyone! I know, I know, I never announced that I’m doing a Q and A! I actually wasn’t planning on it, but I am doing a Q and A on my other blog, and some of you asked me doll-related questions (which is totally okay!) and I thought, ” I’ll answer those on here!” Consider it as a thank-you for 50 followers. 🙂 I also have a few pictures of Brooke to make this post a little more interesting, enjoy!

This first one is from Miri.

Which of your dolls did you get first, and how?

Ruthie is my first doll. I got her at the AG store when I was about six. 🙂 It was super exciting and I have a lot of happy memories of me playing with Ruthie.  Next, Grace’s questions!

How did you discover dolls?

My best friend had an American Girl Doll (Chrissa) and I thought it was so cool! Ruthie caught my eye because she’s really pretty and her name sounds like mine. And so began my obsession with AG dolls! 😉

Who is your favorite doll?

AGH! I DON’T KNOW! I couldn’t possibly decide! I love them all! Ruthie is my very unique first doll and holds a special place in my heart, but Saige is gorgeous and bold, and shares some of my characteristics! Brooke is my newest doll, she’s gotten so many comments on how beautiful she is, and she makes a great model. She probably has my favorite personality out of all my dolls. But to pick an overall favorite is impossible. 😛

Next question! This one is from Arianna.

Do you ever craft accessories for your dolls?

As a matter of fact, I do! I love crafting. One of my favorite accessories I’ve made for my dolls is the pair of shoes Brooke’s wearing right now: Ooh, and making costumes for my dolls is really fun! 🙂

Last but not least, a question from Janie.

What is the favorite outfit you have for your AG’s?

I love to mix and match to get all sorts of different looks, but I’m particularly in LOVE with the outfit from this post because it looks great on all my dolls. 😉 This dress is really cute, too.

Now, I’d like to thank a handful of you and tell you how awesome you are, okay? 😛

Back To Jakku~a Photoshoot

Jaclynn, I think you are going to love this post. 🙂

For my birthday yesterday, my parents got me a voice-controlled BB-8! It’s adorable and I might have squealed when I saw it. We had to practically wrestle him out of the box, but it was worth it.  😛 I dressed Saige up as Rey and took some photos of her. See the adorableness for yourself! XD

I saved my favorite for last. 🙂 I snapped this photo as BB-8 was rolling around. His head actually turns, and it’s SO CUTE.

I had a great birthday. I went to school, then soccer practice, and went out to Olive Garden for dinner. Yum! I had my soccer game this morning (our goalie scored a goal-from the goal! XD) and I also had my bowling birthday party. It was a ton of fun! My gymnastics show is tomorrow, too! I’m SO EXCITED.

Would you guys like to see a birthday haul on my other blog? 😉

Also, I forgot to nominate people for the Great Doll Blog Award. See that post here to see if you’ve been nominated! 🙂

❤ Signing off,

Emerald Forest

So.

It’s been a while.

well not really

Hi! I’m back, and I’m so sorry for the lack of posts recently but don’t say I didn’t warn ya.

SORRY I HAD TO XD

So, my dad and I recently made this top for Ruthie. It’s a pretty emerald color and brings out her eyes, but I don’t think it’ll last very long- the material is really thin. :/ Oh well, I took some pictures of her because she’s been needing some attention, and what better way to steal the spotlight than with a new outfit?

Focus on the flower…

Focus on the boot. 🙂

I made her skirt, too. It was so easy- all you have to do is cut out two pieces of fabric for the front and back of it. Place them good side to good side, and secure with hot glue. Wait for it to dry. Turn  it inside out, and you’re done! My skirt is made of a stretchy material, so I just have to slip it on. 😉

Have a great week, guys!

P.S. I know this is random but I just got a new shirt that has Rey and BB-8 on it! Aaaaah! And it’s PURPLE! Okay, you can go now. XD

Bye!
