“it’s october third.”

it’s…..mean girls day! (are you  wearing pink??)

samantha and i have been working really hard on this collab. we’ve been planning it for months now, and on sunday, i’m pretty sure we facetimed for a total of at least 5 hours. but we each thought of some of our favorite quotes from mean girls, and recreated them with our dolls! below the doll pictures are the photos they were based off of. 🙂

without further adue, i present to you….

“You could try Sears.”

(all photos that are not taken by me, i got off of pinterest.)

and to be clear, i did not get a new doll, i borrowed my friend’s isabelle (goty 2014). 😀

now, i know i only did 3 pictures, because i was super pressed for time, so this can really just be more of an add-on to samantha’s post. XD to find her amazing recreations: check out agdollawesome.com

whatever. i’m getting cheese fries.

//All Too Well//

I walked through the door with you, the air was cold,

But something ’bout it felt like home somehow.

And I left my scarf there at your sister’s house,
And you’ve still got it in your drawer even now.

Oh, your sweet disposition and my wide-eyed gaze.
We’re singing in the car, getting lost Upstate.

Autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place,
And I can picture it after all these days.

And I know it’s long gone,
And that magic’s not here no more,
And I might be okay,
But I’m not fine at all.

‘Cause there we are again on that little town street.
You almost ran the red ’cause you were looking over at me.
Wind in my hair, I was there, I remember it all too well.

Photo album on the counter, your cheeks were turning red.

You used to be a little kid with glasses in a twin sized bed
And your mother’s telling stories about you on a tee ball team

And your mother’s telling stories about you on a tee ball team
You taught me ’bout your past, thinking your future was me.

And I know it’s long gone
And there was nothing else I could do
And I forget about you long enough
To forget why I needed to…

‘Cause there we are again in the middle of the night.
We’re dancing around the kitchen in the refrigerator light
Down the stairs, I was there, I remember it all too well, yeah.

Well, maybe we got lost in translation, maybe I asked for too much,
But maybe this thing was a masterpiece ’til you tore it all up.
Running scared, I was there, I remember it all too well.

Hey, you call me up again just to break me like a promise.
So casually cruel in the name of being honest.

‘m a crumpled up piece of paper lying here
‘Cause I remember it all, all, all… too well.

Time won’t fly, it’s like I’m paralyzed by it
I’d like to be my old self again, but I’m still trying to find it

After plaid shirt days and nights when you made me your own
Now you mail back my things and I walk home alone

But you keep my old scarf from that very first week
‘Cause it reminds you of innocence and it smells like me
You can’t get rid of it ’cause you remember it all too well, yeah

‘Cause there we are again, when I loved you so
Back before you lost the one real thing you’ve ever known
It was rare, I was there, I remember it all too well

Wind in my hair, you were there, you remember it all
Down the stairs, you were there, you remember it all
It was rare, I was there, I remember it all too well

Another beautiful song by the one and only… T Swizzle!

I actually had a lot of fun taking these pictures. I danced up & down the sidewalk as I took some pictures farther away from my house. (I thought a change of scenery would be nice. Next time I take my dolls somewhere, I want to go to a nice, open park by a pond. Not until absolute winter or summer, though.)
I haven’t posted in awhile. I sorta regret not making a Halloween post. :/

Favorite picture? Let me know in the comments down below!

Sorry, some of my random pics are in here…

I am so glad tomorrow’s Friday. I’ve never really been one of those people who LOVES and WORSHIPS Fridays, but seriously, I want this week to be over. So much going on. Ugh. Boring Spanish class, my legs are falling off (too much running) , I have a History Presentation tomorrow and one of the girls in my group isn’t going to be here, AND on top of that I have a clarinet playing test on a really hard piece coming up. Oh, yeah, and I need to get my good leg splits down for gymnastics before Halloween. I also can’t find my favorite pair of leggings, and I don’t want to go to school (if you haven’t figured that out already, lol)

‘kay, now I wanna talk about something. WHY. DOES. EVERYONE. AT. MY. SCHOOL. ACT. SO. FAKE. Like, wanting to be/feel accepted is one thing- but completely changing who you are is totally different. Almost everyone I know is fake and like, it irks me that people think, Oh, I’m so much better than (name) because I’m prettier. Or because I have cool friends. Or ’cause I have like 100 people I’m friends with on Snapchat. Like, oh my god. Seriously. It’s so annoying.

Okay, I feel weird posting deep stuff on here, so I’ll stop.

So, how did you like the photos?
xx,   Rutvi ❤

You Belong With Me

You’re on the phone with your girlfriend
She’s upset, she’s going off about something that you said
‘Cause she doesn’t get your humor like I do
I’m in the room, it’s a typical Tuesday night.
I’m listening to the kind of music she doesn’t like.
And she’ll never know your story like I do.
But she wears short skirts
I wear t-shirts

She’s cheer captain
And I’m on the bleachers
Dreaming about the day when you wake up and find
That what you’re looking for has been here the whole time.
If you could see
That I’m the one
Who understands you.
Been here all along.
So, why can’t you see
You belong with me,
You belong with me.
Walk in the streets with you in your worn out jeans

I can’t help thinking this is how it ought to be.

Laughing on a park bench thinking to myself,
“Hey, isn’t this easy?”
And you’ve got a smile
That could light up this whole town.
I haven’t seen it in a while
Since she brought you down.
You say you’re fine, I know you better than that.
Hey, what you doing with a girl like that?

She wears high heels,
I wear sneakers.
She’s cheer captain,
And I’m on the bleachers.
Dreaming about the day when you wake up and find

That what you’re looking for has been here the whole time.

If you could see
That I’m the one
Who understands you,
Been here all along.
So, why can’t you see

You belong with me.
Standing by and waiting at your backdoor.

All this time how could you not know, baby?
You belong with me,
you belong with me…
Oh, I remember you driving to my house
In the middle of the night.
I’m the one who makes you laugh
When you know you’re ’bout to cry.
I know your favorite songs,And you tell me about your dreams.
Think I know where you belong,

Think I know it’s with me.

Can’t you see
That I’m the one
Who understands you?

Been here all along.
So, why can’t you see
You belong with me.
Standing by and waiting at your backdoor.
All this time how could you not know, baby?

You belong with me,
You belong with me.

You belong with me…

Have you ever thought just maybe…

 You belong with me?

You belong with me.

Ruthie wants to tell you something…..

Hello, world!

It’s a special day!

Anyone know why?

Because TODAY, Buzz About AG hit 100 followers!!!

We’ve been waiting for this day!

So Thank You!

Now for some fun facts:

*Rutvi started her blog on Weebly, then moved it to WordPress.

*Loren was her first follower!

*Rutvi drooled over Brooke in a catalog for months before we finally got her.

I’ll be taking over now. 🙂

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! You all deserve cake, hugs, your dream custom doll, and cake. Oh, and did I mention the cake?

First picture I ever posted: Picture

This is one of the first, if not the very first, doll pictures I’d EVER taken with a camera.

First Photostory I ever read: A Magical Encounter in the Woods

I tried to create my own photostory after reading this. But I’d never made one before and I ended up having zero ideas. It turned out to be almost an exact copy of Loren’s photostory. Whoops. I never posted it, but I’ll give you a small part…

It was a normal Saturday afternoon, and I was BORED. I decided to go for a hike. I slung a backpack over my shoulders, and called, ” Bye, Mom! Bye, Dad! See you in a bit!”

Ugh. Embarrassing.

Cute! I’ve always wanted some doll overalls.🙂

First follower: Loren @Happy House Of AG

I never thought this would happen so fast, and I’m grateful that I’ve met you-every single one of you, in fact. Not just because you follow my blog, but because you are loyal commenters and supporters. 100 followers. Wow. It’s just insane!

I’ve had some great opportunities since I’ve started this blog. For instance, collabbing with the lovely Meg, Michelle, and Ginnie! Our dollympics posts were a success, and even though I only posted one story (school got hectic, what else is new) it was so fun.

Me and Sam from AG Doll Awesome both hit 100 followers at the same time-how cool is that? We also have a lot of other things in common like fandoms, dolls, clarinet, etc.

Doll Sized Finds: Food+Fashion

As a doll blogger, I pretty much look at tiny things and see if they are a good size for my dolls. Here’s a few things I’ve found recently that I love.
These utensils. *dies* SO CUTE. And they’re the perfect size! I got them at Michael’s, I’d actually seen these several times before I decided to get them. 😉 They are supposed to be charms, but they are great for dolls.

I like how it looks like there’s a plate in front of her. 😛

They come with three sets of spoons, knives, and forks. They are lightweight, and all of my dolls can eat together since there’s exactly enough for all of them. YAY! 😀

Next thing is this little mug. It’s ADORABLE, and even came with a tiny fake flower in it. 🙂 For some reason, I love this thing to pieces.

Ruthie can hold it without tape or a rubberband!

It fits in her hand nicely. Also, look at that cute design! *dies again* I got this from a stationery store I went to on vacation.
The last thing I found is a doll sized choker necklace! These are super trendy right now, and my dolls are  not missing out on the high fashion either. XD This came with a choker set that I got on vacation: It came with a ring, a bracelet, and a necklace. The human-sized bracelet fits perfectly around the doll’s neck. 🙂

What was your favorite find? Are you going to rush to Michaels now? 😉

Have a dollightful day!

Home Sweet Home~a Photostory

I am back from vacation, and it feels so, so good! Aaaahhhh, home sweet home. It’s great to be back to my own bed,

My dolls,

and my friends.

But….I’m going to miss a lot of things about where I went, too…

My grandmas. ♥

Simba, the family dog.

The long drives to unforgettable memories.

Traditional food…

My cousins!

I miss you, everyone at my home-away-from-home! ❤ Love you!

It is good to be home, though.

I had a wonderful time on vacation and just got back today!

And yes- Ruthie is supposed to be me in this story. 🙂 😉 She even wore practically the same clothes I’ve been wearing all day, white flats,♥ pants and a plain black t-shirt with glasses. (I wear contacts, but I had Ruthie wear Brooke’s glasses ’cause they look like mine and I wore them on the flight today.

The 2016 Dollympics

Hi, everyone, I’m really sorry for abandoning blogging for almost 2 weeks. When I get back from vacation on August 8, I’m going to start something called the Dollympics. Each day I’ll post a mini photostory/photoshoot centered around a different sport. Just thought I’d give you a heads-up on that! Your job will be to give the doll an Olympics Score for each performance.

ALSO, I will be teaming up with Ginnie at Faking it Mostly and Meg and Michelle from Canadian Doll Notebook for the Dollympics! I was ecstatic that they asked me, and we have been hard at work planning.

Questions? I’d be happy to answer. 🙂

Let the dollympics begin!

Review: PWP Summer Hoodie Set

Sorry XD my brother’s eating watermelon so…yeah!

Hey, everyone! Arianna requested a review of this outfit, so here it is. But before we get into that, I just want to ask: How many of you can see the pictures in my latest posts? I can usually see them just fine but once in a while I can’t.I don’t know what’s up with that, does anyone know how to fix it? :O I just really hope I figure it out because I spend a lot of time taking pictures and even longer putting them into the post.  Christian Homeschooler suggested it might be because some people are not logged into a google account. So I logged out of mine, and then I couldn’t see the pictures. So maybe you are right about that…I’m so sorry! I am trying to fix it, I promise. 🙂

Let’s start with the top.

It is a white sleeveless hoodie, made with stretchy ribbed material. It’s fairly easy to put on, and it’s not bulky at all.The hood came like this, folded to one side. I like it flat because when I tried to unfold it, It looked like an empty little bag so I just kept it this way.  You could probably straighten it, though. You can see that it comes that way by looking at the pictures from the AG website. This polka-dotted fabric lines the inside of the hood. The hood on Ruthie’s head. It sort of messed up her hair, and who needs a hood in summer? But I guess it’s cute. It gives her a kind of tough look, which I like.

Closeup of the design. There’s a small blue AG tag. Some AG outfits have the standard metal tag, while some have a cloth one. The skirt has a tag identical to the one on the shirt. It’s sorta kinda unnecessary. It’s made of the same material lining the hoodie, and I like that. Lastly, the bracelet! It’s made of colorful beads and elastic cord. It matches the shirt perfectly: It’s a fun and summery accessory. Plus, it can be worn as an anklet! 🙂

Footsies! 😛

Practicality: 3/5 (You could make the bracelet yourself, and the skirt’s  a little too short.)

Cuteness: 5/5

Worth it: 4/5 (While it’s VERY cute and summery, it doesn’t come with shoes. But considering it was a PWP and costed less, I will say it was worth the $$$.) 🙂

Realistic: 5/5 {Meaning would I wear it or not (Yes!)

Extra pics:

I hope that was helpful, and as always, feel free to request any post in the comments! I’m always happy to do reviews or any other post.

Ending post #80 on my blog,

P.S.Look out for a few surprises…coming soon to  So Sugar Sweet! 🙂

Flip-Flop? Or Just Flop?

It’s been forever since I’ve made a photostory, so I decided to make one today! 🙂 I hope you enjoy, if you did, leave a comment! ❤

Brooke chanted, “Give me a S! Give me a T! Give me an A! Give me a R! GOOOOOO, team STARS!!!!!!!!” Then she began to run into a handspring.

But…she wasn’t much of a gymnast, and three seconds after throwing herself in the air, Brooke found herself lying on her back, panting hard.“Ugh! I’ll never be able to do this!”Ruthie had been watching her sister practice her cheers for a few minutes, and wasn’t sure whether to be amused or help her. “I guess I’ll help,” she finally decided. So she quickly ran back inside and grabbed a practice mat. “Need some help?” She called. Brooke looked up from another knee-landing on her flip-flop. “You’d do that for me?” Ruthie nodded. She ran up and hugged her. “Wait…but you’re not a cheerleader.”

“I’m a gymnast, I can teach you tumbling.” Her sister/ mentor-to-be laughed. After setting up the mat together, Brooke and Ruthie started right away. Very patiently, Ruthie explained every step of a back handspring. “Sit back, swing your arms, and go back. And whatever you do, don’t be afraid of the ground.” Should be easy enough, Brooke thought to herself. I mean, it’s not like I could seriously injure myself.

“I’ll help you the first few times, and then you can try it alone.” Ruthie stepped off the mat. Brooke faked a smile and allowed Ruthie to spot her. “Go ahead, now.” She nudged Brooke onto the mat so she could d it alone. By now she was terrified. How does Ruthie do this?!

She tried to focus and do everything Ruthie said to do. So, swing, run, then slide? Wait, no, that’s baseball! Aha! Swing, sit, and launch! Kind of like a rocket. I like that a lot! Brooke the rocket. Ha! Has a nice ring to it. She didn’t realize she was daydreaming until her sister   “coach” waved her hand in front of her eyes. “Are you going to do it, or not?”

“I’m gonna do it!” Maybe… Brooke yelled. She closed her eyes…

 launched herself backwards…

and stuck the landing!

“WOO-HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!” She screamed. Ruthie clapped excitedly, picked up Brooke’s pom-poms, and started to chant. “Give me a B! Give me a R! Give me an O! Give me another O! Give me a K! Give me an E! Goooooo, Brookie Cookie!” Brooke blushed. “Thanks for helping me, sis.”

“You’re welcome.”

❤ Aw. Nothing like a good afternoon spent with your sister. XD

This kind of reminds me of my friend-she’s starting gymnastics, and I’ve been helping her practice. I’ve got to say, it’s fun!

Rutvi-out! 😉
