My thoughts: Lea Clark

Julia shares some of her thoughts about Lea in this wonderful post. At first, I didn’t see anything I didn’t like about the 2016 Girl of the Year, but now I realize that everything Julia wrote is so true! After reading this you might not looooove and drool over Lea anymore. SORRY, Lea! 😉

  1. I personally loved the movie, and all AG movies for that matter. If you don’t try to think too hard they are quite enjoyable. 🙂 When we were away I kept referring to different AG movies and books to explain history to my girls. Maybe they didn’t learn as much about history from this movie but it was fun!

  2. I love the Lea doll. Her hair is gorgeous. We weren’t going to get her because we thought that she looked too similar to Rebecca but now, I’m glad that we did. She is absolutely stunning. As for the storyline, I guess I would have to read her books to really understand. I’m told that she has a blog and likes to take photos so that’s something, but I still don’t understand why the nine year old takes it upon herself to go find her nearly adult brother. I mean, there are police for missing people. Plus, I don’t think a nine year old is really equipped to go on a search and rescue by herself into the rainforest in a foreign country, what?? 🙂
